近年來,整個地球、社會環境的意識混亂,無論是環境、氣候、生態都已遭受嚴重破壞,戰爭、經濟、貧窮、人心疏離……人們承受嚴重的精神壓力,心靈空虛、感受不到愛、對生命絕望,因此憂鬱症、癌症、慢性疾病都已成為人類最迫切需要解決的問題。
In
recent years, our world is experiencing unprecedented chaos in terms of the
collective consciousness or the living environment. Moreover, the endless wars,
financial recession, poverty, and segregation among human beings all impose
severe burdens on our psychology. And thus, many of us tend to feel despaired,
empty, and hopeless, suffering from depression or other chronic diseases, which
has become an urgent issue that we have to cope with immediately.

According to some studies, meditation can
trigger our inner love and compassion, which leads to a positive impact on our
world. In summer, 1993, a well-known study conducted in Washington, a town
noted for its high murder rate, reported that the murder rate of a single day dropped
25% in Washington when 4000 volunteers from over 100 countries meditated for that
whole day. Based on quantum physics, our emotions radiate vibrations. Even
subtle thoughts have vibrations. In one sense, the universe is an infinite net,
where every being can influence one another. That is to say, we have to be
fully responsible for what we are doing, since what we do matters to others and
what is happening on earth matters to us too.
Meditation
brings harmony and positive influence to the collective consciousness. When the
positive impact gets stronger, the negative phenomena, such as crimes and
violence, relatively dwindle. That’s why meditation is
regarded as a rapid way to curb the society. We have to breathe every moment,
and through meditation, we can regulate our breath and simultaneously integrate
our inner world, retrieve our health as well as happiness, help the world
become more peaceful, and last but not least, make our earth a better place to
live on.

However,
at the beginning phase of learning how to meditate, many people may distract
easily and feel that they are not good enough for meditation. But, never give
up! If that’s the case with you, you are advised to burn some good-quality
incense and make the location for your meditation practice more stable and
peaceful, which can help your brain waves slow down quickly and help you clam
down. Then, you can gradually feel the advantages of meditation on your
physiological, psychological, and spiritual status. In short, meditation with
