點香會招來靈界眾生嗎？ Will burning incense invite spirits?

 很多人認為點香會招來靈界眾生，因為靈界眾生聞到這麼香的香，會不想離開，所以大都不贊成、甚至害怕點香。

Many people assume that burning incense will invite spirits, since the fragrance of the incense can be tantalizing to not only humans but also spirits, and thus some people may reject or even fear burning incense.

事實上，點香供佛、敬神或供養靈界眾生，是出於我們的虔敬心與祝福。天然、純正的香品，本身具有大自然的能量，加上製香過程嚴謹，以「利益眾生」為初心的製香心態，香氣就具有穩定、祥和、寧靜、喜悅、清揚的高等能量，能協助眾生快速提升與轉化。因此，靈界眾生聞到此種香氣，都會心開意解，充滿法喜，回到他該去的地方。

As a matter of fact, burning incense to pay tribute to Buddha, Gods, or spirits is a way to show our respect or blessings to them. Natural and high-quality incense carries the energy of the big nature, and furthermore, if the incense manufacturers produce the incense with a heart to benefit all the sentient-beings, then the fragrance of the incense is of stable, peaceful, serene, delightful, and uplifting energy, which can help those who smell it to rapidly transform and ascend. Thus, upon smelling such incense, the spirits can be relieved and delighted and go to where they belong to.

有些眾生由於和我們有緣、在世時心願未了或因為其它因素，會在世間流連、不願回去。這時，可以透過焚香祝禱的方式，再次與他們溝通，請他們放下心中的罣礙與執著，不但可以協助他們回到光與愛當中，也能達到除障、消災、增益、懷愛的世間福報。

However, some spirits may have had some relationships with us in our past lives and thus choose to linger around for the reason or another. In such a case, we can burn incense and pray for them, in the hope that they can let go of their obsessions and attachments. By doing so, we can help them return to the realm of light and love, and we ourselves can chase away our obstacles, disaster and can accumulate our blessings.

 

焚香供養，需以天然香為要，因為化學香不但刺鼻、傷害身體，讓人心浮氣躁、頭昏眼花，也會汙染環境，反而製造了混濁不穩的磁場 。

透過每日的供香行為，以內在的心香祝禱及外在的好香祈願，是擴展愛力、與眾生結善緣的好方法。

Yet, the quality of incense matters. We are advised to choose natural incense rather than artificial incense, because the latter can be pungent, harm our body, make us dizzy, pollute the environment, and destabilize the energy field. In conclusion, by burning incense on a daily basis to pay our tribute to Buddha, Gods, or spirits, we can deliver our best wishes by means of the incense and expand our love for all.
